My Digital Converter box lost almost all the channels it used to get. How do I fix it?

Yesterday morning my RCA Digital Converter box worked just fine with about 7 channels. When I turned it on later, only 2 of the channels still worked. The rest said No Signal.

I have an ANALOG CABLE READY TV, can i directly connect DIGITAL cable to it WITHOUT using a cable box?

How do you get rid of the black box for the digital converter?
